LAW OR NO LAW... THIS HAS TO STOP!!!

There are certain things in life that happen and in return help us put some certain things in perspective.
I had to loose friends to know I really didn't need them as i thought,i lost loved ones just to know they will always be with me and i had to graduate, get my degree to know that's not everything needed in this life like how everyone presumes it. We work for things so hard just to loose them , or take them for granted just to see they are not yours anymore.
Ladies and gentleman, patriots and non citizens, I have never been into politics, or followed on matters/issues closely that are happening to my country. But i will tell you this. I love my country. I just love it. Tanzania is just beautiful, in and out. Above and beyond. And beleive me i have recently travelled to other countries and all the time I'm there being amazed by how they are and what not, the one thing thats in my mind all the time is I can't wait to go home.
I mean whats not to love, our foods are awesome, simple lives but yet fulfiling, we have amazing artists, entrepreneurs keep growing day by day, our culture is just 😍 and the best of all is our people.
We are by far the best people who could have around in any country without worrying about tribalism, disrespect, negligence, lawful, polite, obedient, loving and so much more. I mean seriously whats not to be proud of?
We have been known for years as the most peaceful country in the world, I mean if that doesn't tell you much about us... I don't know what can.
But recent events within one of our big cities, (Dar Es Salaam) have made it seem like the opposite.
It's feeling less and less as home over the years.
And not only Dar Es Salaam but its been going around in various cities too within the country.
We are getting lost throughout the years in our own country and I think we all speak up before we loose it all.
Because as we speak, right now human rights are myth, democracy is truly dead, ain't such thing as freedom, the economy is dead as well and we have just become a walking contradiction with no soul purpose whatsoever.
Because in the end everything you trying to touch, improve, improvise, expand some crazy ass rule comes along and just washes it away.
Its like a game we playing, two steps forward and four steps back.
That's how it is!!!

.
Here is the thing,  Dar Es Salaam has this new rule passed on clothes or hairstyles to be worn and kept from.
See for me this is just totally nuts, because they have banned short clothes and anything tight for women, dreadlocks and mohawk, also shorts for men *(there is a certain type, kama za kiba hvi ama ndo wanazingua nazo)*.
Let's focus on the women, i am mostly interested in that, I mean let's be honest, no one will actually attack a man in the streets. I am basically talking about safety.

The reason behind was this can help decrease lust and harassment from men towards women. Now here is the thing, is this government for the perverted  or for the great women of this country? or is this a government of the people?
Because you know Kenya had a similar set back in their country, were women were being stripped and sexually harassed by men in the streets  or even in public transports with the reason behind that what they are wearing is provocative.
Do you know how it went down? All these perves were arrested, the president Uhuru Kenyatta issued a bann *(not sure to call it bann or rule)* that any man found harassing a woman in the streets or anywhere will face life imprisonment.
These perverted men were not encouraged..no he made sure to show them were their place really is.
Because if you bring the matter of ethics and Tanzanian culture, what is really our culture?
We have all passed down history and we have all seen those crude old paintings on what most Africans wore, and i will tell you this there weren't clothes. They were animal skins.
And at a later period is when we wore at least pieces of clothes, and later on clothes.
And these short clothes your now banning saying that they are the reason why these men attack, harrass or have some crazy level of lust... that's not the reason why they are doing those things. In fact YOU ARE ENCOURAGING THEM TO DO THEM!!
The clothes your blaming on, the victims (women) are not the problem. These men are.
Cause as i said, as we all learned our history we would hear people say issues of thieves and rape but it wasn't because of the skin they wore but because of who those men are.
Now with this recent bann, women don't have peace have to think extra longer on what to wear without being harassed or arrested. Its just madness for sure.
And for the record considering how crude those times were, those men behaved even more than how these so called civilized men are.
So you really need to think it through, is this country for those perverted men or for the good women that you come back home to? tThat help you day to day regardless of your actions, to the mothers and future mothers of this country.
And we don't deny there are things to be worn at a certain place and event, and whatsoever...but being harrased in the streets because my ass popped out in my jeans, or coz im wearing a dress thats above the knee.. this is encouraging madness.
We need to develop not move backwards as years go by.

Look for example,

A girl is stripped or being harassed by the streets, you don't need to know how the story started or how it ended but what you should know is that is someone's daughter/sister and worse enough...you do nothing... PEOPLE SCREAMING AND SHAMING AND RECORDING HER... WHY AREN'T THEY DOING ANYTHING? DO YOU THINK THIS IS RIGHT??????
Shaming enough, even girls do nothing about it...hiding won't fix the problem....
That could be your daughter/sister or worse...IT COULD BE YOU!
